In 2016, I was injured on the job while working as a RN for Mercy Hospital. Rather than helping me recover from the injuries, Mercy chose to deny my worker’s compensation claim and fire me. To begin with, I hired an attorney other than Eddie Walker. This other attorney had my claim for nearly three years and got nowhere with it, not even to a hearing. I finally asked the other attorney to withdraw from my case and took everything to Mr. Walker. By the time I consulted with Mr. Walker, there were literally thousands and thousands of pages of medical records, depositions, and other documents for him to read through to get the full picture of my case. Even though my injuries happened years prior, and even though there was a mountain of paperwork for Mr. Walker to dig through, he still had us in court within a few short months of accepting my case. To date, we have been to court four times for this worker’s compensation claim, and we have won every time. Mr. Walker always showed up to court completely prepared, with an absolute understanding of everything about my case and full comprehension of the laws that govern it. He has also written several briefs to the Courts regarding this claim and every single one of them have been a masterpiece. The briefs have also shown complete preparedness, an absolute understanding of my case, and a deep grasp of the law. In addition, Mr. Walker has a phenomenal office staff. They all work as a team, ensuring their clients are well taken care of, calls and emails are quickly answered, and everything is running smoothly. Mercy has fought this worker’s compensation claim for nine and a half long years. They have played unfairly by paying doctors that never met me, never even examined me, to write letters saying I was not injured. They have appealed nearly every ruling to the Full Commission and this case now sets at the Arkansas Court of Appeals. Yet, Mr. Walker has stood by me every step of the way since taking on my case. He has proven he is not afraid to take on challenging cases. He has more than put in the time and effort necessary to fight for me and I am grateful for all he has done. If you are in need of a great attorney then look no further that Eddie Walker for all of your workers comp. Issues they have great customer service and take the time to get to know you and address all of your concerns.
